It can sometimes feel like all the people who know anything about AI are also huge fans of it, claiming that if you don’t embrace the technology then you’ll fall behind. With promised time savings, software features that do half your job and freedom to focus on the things you actually enjoy, it’s hard to find someone who isn’t motivated to get you more into AI.
I don’t mind how much AI you use.
There is no one out there who understands your firm like you do. There will be some firms that jump into AI with two feet and give everything a go. There will be others that would rather it all went away and are cursing ChatGPT for ruining their lives. Most will be somewhere in between. Every one of those is a valid choice.
Even if you’d rather do the minimum, it helps to know what AI is already switched on in the software you use, and what’s changing around it. My job is to understand where you sit, and give you enough knowledge and advice about AI to make your own decisions.
What I promise
- However much or little AI you use, I respect that choice.
- You know your firm far better than I do. You’re skilled and experienced, and every conversation starts with me listening to what you need.
- I have no stake in how much AI you use or which software you buy. I’m not affiliated with any tech company and I’m not paid to sell any product.
- Decisions remain yours. If I think one rests on a misunderstanding about the technology, I’ll point that out.
- I give a clear view on the technology and how well it fits what you want. I don’t give generic verdicts on tools, because the answer is different for every firm.
- I only say what I’m confident is accurate. If something is arguable, I say so.
My background, and why I see AI this way, is on the About page.
